Walking, Cycling and Riding at Claydon Estate

Claydon Estate is situated in the picturesque Buckinghamshire countryside, with the Chilterns on our doorstep!

Walking at Claydon Estate

There are public rights of way across the estate, and you can find a map detailing these on the Buckinghamshire Council website below.

We kindly ask that you keep dogs on leads, take all rubbish home and follow the Countryside Code at all times.

Cycling at Claydon Estate

The National Cycle Network route 51 goes past our main entrance and cyclists often find the Phoenix Kitchen to be a welcome stop off, enjoying something to eat and drink before heading off on their ride.

We kindly ask you to dismount before entering Claydon Courtyard, use the cycle racks provided, and don’t leave bikes against the walls of our historic courtyard.

Riding at Claydon Estate

Horse riders can enjoy riding on the public bridleways crossing Claydon Estate. The routes are clearly marked with signs, and please be considerate of other visitors, dog walkers and livestock grazing in the parkland.
