Cyclists can cycle up the main drive and are required to dismount before entering Claydon Courtyard. Please note, we do not currently have cycle racks.
Dogs on leads are very welcome in Claydon Courtyard, the Phoenix Kitchen and many of our independent businesses. The Phoenix Kitchen always has dog bowls with water and treats for our canine friends!
We kindly ask that you keep your dogs on leads while walking on the public rights of way that cross the estate and parkland.
Horse riders can enjoy riding on the public bridleways crossing Claydon Estate. The routes are clearly marked with signs, and please be considerate of other visitors, dog walkers and livestock grazing in the parkland.
If you are visiting with young children, we have plenty of open space at Claydon Courtyard, and the Phoenix Kitchen offers a children’s menu, baby food warming facility, high-chairs, and a toddler playpen. There’s also Florence Nightingale’s carriage and a lovely old fire engine to discover.
Yes, we have a wide and diverse range of fields, woodland, parkland, and walled gardens available to hire for private, corporate, and public events, as well as commercial photography and filming. Please contact our events team for further information: [email protected].
