Meet the Team – Tryphena Foster
We are proud of our team here at Claydon Estate, so we would like to tell you a little more about who we are and what we do …
Name: Tryphena Foster
Job Title: Events and Marketing Manager
What’s your role at Claydon Estate?
My role is to oversee all aspects of Claydon Estate’s marketing. This includes social media activity, designing and printing leaflets, writing blogs, website updates, newsletters, advertising, and anything else that may be required.
In addition to marketing, I also manage the contracts and coordinate the logistic side of things for our yearly schedule of events. The types of events I could be working on vary considerably; I could be working with clients that are planning a festival with more than 5000 attendees to a corporate team-building day for 100 individuals.
Describe your perfect day here!
I enjoy the variety that the job brings, no one day is the same! I especially enjoy the spring and the summer months on Claydon Estate, it’s such a beautiful location to work.
I do enjoy looking for photo opportunities for social media; the sunsets here are amazing and I love the photo opportunities that the spring lambs bring.
In your role, what are you most looking forward to over the next few months?
I’m looking forward to welcoming Towersey festival back to Claydon Estate for its second year here.
Towersey Festival has been running for more than 50 years and, since 2020, it has called Claydon Estate its home. The event was unfortunately delayed several times because of covid, so it was great to see it finally take place last year after so many months of preparation!
It was such an enjoyable festival with a lovely atmosphere, I’m looking forward to being part of it once more.
What interests/hobbies do you have?
I enjoy yoga, and there are not many weeks when I’m not at a yoga class or seeking out my next yoga event. In-between work and a busy family life I enjoy trying my hand at different crafts. I’ve always got some project on the go which usually ends up taking over the whole house!
Finally, what’s your favourite film or book, and why?
Such a difficult question as there is so much to choose from. I enjoy reading and recently read “The curious incident of the dog in the night-time” by British author Mark Haddon.
A thoroughly enjoyable murder mystery book which is funny, heart-wrenching, and equally heart-warming, I devoured it in a single sitting!
